This is the armband that was issued in 1960. It is distinguished by dark red twill and a black elastic strap. The border and the letters are both white. This is very similar to the 1964 armband. Like all of the armbands between 1937 and 1964, this was officially issued to the medical staff.
As in 1957, Dr. Sharp again created a patch for personal use where he overstitched a caduceus on a regular jamboree patch.
Neckerchief slides appear to be popular memorabilia items for the earlier jamborees. The left one appears to be a pin soldered onto a caduceus, and I have a similar one for the 1969 National Jamboree. The right one is homemade and is obviously for section 22, but I don't know anything else about it. If you know anything, please contact me.
