It does not appear that there were any "official" issues in 1981. The issue on the left was a reproduction patch with a gold caduceus. This was made by Dr. Michael Diamond. The issue on the right shows an official patch overstitiched with a yellow caduceus. It is unknown who produced this.
Dr. Merrill Sharp, who had been chief medical officer at the national and world jamborees held in the 1960s, created this medical patch for his own personal use. It is a standard jamboree patch with an overstitched medical staff.
