In 2008 the OA decided to do a nationwide service project. In conjunction with the US Forest Service, 5 sites were chosen, each over one week, and leadership service was provided. It was an awesome undertaking.

The Mark Twain medical director was Chris Grove, MD. I believe Dr. Brad Epstein designed this patch.
I was the medical director for Manti-La Sal. We did not have a staff patch.
Jon Hobbs, DO was the medical director for George Washington & Jefferson and designed the two patches above.
Dan Napoliello, RN was the medical director for Shasta-Trinity, and I was the lead physician. Dan Napoliello designed the staff patches. The yellow border was the event patch for the entire medical staff. The orange border represented medical. The green border represented safety. The maroon border represented venturing.
