2015 NOAC
The 2015 NOAC returned to Michigan State University to celebrate the centennial of the Order of the Arrow. There were over 15,000 participants, making this the largest NOAC ever. The weather was just about perfect. Jon Hobbs, DO was the Health Services director.

The 2015 Health Services Staff patches were designed by Dr. Jon Hobbs and continued his tradition of the gold border being the staff patch that each staff member received upon arrival, the black border being the trader patch, and the white ghost being the thank you gift at the end of the conference.
These bullions were issued at the 2015 NOAC. The one on the left was the initial one issued. There are two mistakes. The major one is the misspelling of the word arrow. The minor one is that because of the various components, the staff is now health services. As a result, the second bullion was issued. These are the only medical bullions issued at a NOAC.
This was not a medical staff patch. This was issued at one of the activities at The Hub, a central area of the NOAC where there were many different adventures for the arrowmen to enjoy. I did not participate in this activity so I do not know specifically how one obtained it. Some of the vendors were giving away patches, and that may have been the case with this one. |
Did you think you saw a two piece flap/chevron combination for this NOAC? You are not alone, but these patches were not issued by the medical staff. They were issued by Michigamea Lodge #110 in honor of one of their members. That patch is located here.
