Scouting was established in Korea in 1922 while under Japanese rule. It was banned by the occupying force from 1937 to 1945. Prior to the Korean war, it existed throughout the Korean peninsula. The first Korean National Jamboree was in July, 1952
2018 -- Mt. Seorak, Gangwon Province
The Jamboree in 2018 was called the 5th International Patrol Jamboree. This patch was issued one per person for medical staff. This was the first medical staff patch issued for a Korean jamboree. I believe that bear was a mascot of this jamboree as I have seen it on other patches from this jamboree.
