1967 World Jamboree -- United States
The 1967 World Jamboree was the first world jamboree held in the United States and the second to be held in north America. It was held at Farragut State Park, Idaho, and this would be the future site of the 1969 BSA National Jamboree. This was the sixtieth anniversary of Scouting in general, and guests included World Chief Guide Olave Baden-Powell and U.S. vice president Hubert Humphrey.

This armband is consistent with the armbands provided by the BSA National Committee for the BSA National Jamborees of the 1960s. This is distinguished by the green lettering and purple border, the latter of which is consistent with international Scouting. Although not seen in the photo, there is also a white armband.
Dr. Merrill Sharp was chief officer at this jamboree, and similar to what he did at BSA National Jamborees, he produced a patch for all medical staff with a medical staff overstitched on an official patch.
