I believe all Health and Safety staff received these round patches as well, but I am not sure. The only difference between the two patches is the loop on the one on the left.
I am not certain that these were medical patches per se, but it is clear from their design that they encompass medical services. They both are cut edge. The left one has a blue border, and the right one has a gold border.
These patches are from the Dr. Michael Diamond series. Please note that he made other patches as part of this series that do not have anything to do with medical staff.
The four patches above were made by Dan Napoliello, RN. Typically in his designs, the gold border is the general, the orange border is for medical, and the green border is for health and safety. I believe he also produced the shield patch on the right.
These four patches above were produced by Dr. Lynn Horne. I am not certain if the border colors signify anything.
Two more program areas with medical staff patches. The left is for the Visitors Medical Center. The right patch is one of many different color flag patches that Scuba made in 2005, and the green one was made for Scuba medical staff.
Part of a larger grouping of JSPs made by subcamp 2, these are the three that relate to medical staff.
The left JSP was given to medical staff in subcamp 7; note the caduceus. The right two were medical staff JSPs from subcamp 10. My understanding is that the one on the right was made by a plastic surgeon on the staff.
Ophthalmology staff. I am not certain whether optical staff should be listed under medical staff, but here is the patch.
The left is the first medical staff bullion, which is a heavier material. I am not certain if this was available to all staff. The right patch was issued by the local ambulance company that helped out with emergency transport from the jamboree.
I am not certain why there were so many pins produced for the 2005 National Jamboree. The left one is a heavy shield with a strap for hanging, almost like a police shield. It may have been given to all health and safety staff. I am not 100% certain that the one on the right was issued for 2005.
