Hong Kong is not technically its own country, but it is a unique situation. It was a British colony when Scouting was started and so Scouting took hold here. It is now under special administration by China, but the Scouting program remains unchanged. According to wikipedia, jamborees in Hong Kong are held around specific anniversaries, with the first jamborees in the late 1930s.
2006
I do not have any information about the medical staff and only very little information about this jamboree. The jamboree itself was held to celebrate the 95th anniversary of Hong Kong and the 100th anniversary of world Scouting. It was held in the West Kowloon cultural district near Tsim Sha Tsui from December 27, 2006 - January 1, 2007. There were 4225 participants. I have the patch on the left. I would be interested in acquiring the patch on the right.
2016
This jamboree was held December 23, 2016 - December 27, 2016. It was held at Penny's Bay next to Hong Kong Disneyland. I forget what the different border colors mean, but the purple border is bigger than the other two. I think one of the others was received for working a certain amount of hours.
